M. M. McLean, one of hte older settlers of the Lometa sectoin, died saturday and was buried Sunday at the Fowler Valley cemetery. He was formerly in business at Lometa, and was a success wherever he was at work. He had only recently moved back to Lometa from Naruna, where he had been making his home for some years. S. P. McLean, sr., and Uncle John McLean, both now of Lometa, are his brothers, and he had many relatives in different parts of this and Burnet counties. A good man has gone to his reward.
